About our Pole Dancing Classes:
Heard about pole dancing classes for fitness but you've never had the courage to try? Well now is your chance with a free trial class, NO strings attached!
At Activ Bodi Studio our classes are designed to suit all levels of fitness and body shapes. The instructors follow a schedule of weekly moves that incorporates spins, lifts, non weight bearing maneuvers and combinations so each student gains strength, flexibility and pole confidence at their desired level. We offer Beginner Levels 1 and 2 as well as intermediate and advanced classes. If you prefer some one on one time with your instructor, we also offer private lessons where we will assist you with your performance routines if you want to compete, learn new moves or just simply gain strength and skill at a faster pace.
Our Studio Consists of 8 Secure dance poles of various diameters including 38mm and 45mm, powder coated and stainless steel, soft rubber padded flooring making landing and floor work more comfortable on the knees, surround sound, industrial fans and plenty of safe, secure parking. Our qualified and well trained instructors are patient, welcoming and love sharing their passion for pole. Jenna Arrow, owner of Activ Body Studio is an internationally and nationally certified pole instructor with 11 years dance experience and 7 years teaching experience and has competed in Miss Pole Dance SA, Pole Trix as well as the annual charity event - Pole Unity.

Personal Training
Individual and Group Training Sessions:
At Activ Bodi Studio we strive to create individual or group training sessions designed to suit your personal needs. With all our clients we complete a full biomechanics assessment to assess and assist with the design of your training and flexibility programs. Our safe, spacious, well ventilated, private and clean studio also offers plenty of safe parking, surround sound, soft rubber flooring and a variety of equipment to suit your training programs. Whether in the comfort of your own home or at our studio, we supply and provide adequate equipment, knowledge, enthusiasm and motivation on those tough days, at your most convenient time.
I (Jenna Arrow) am a certified instructor, having completed my National Certificate in Fitness through Fitpro which Included Exercise Science and Personal Training. I am focused, goal orientated an approach every client as an individual with different needs making every exercise program designed accordingly to your goals and expectations. ALL age groups are welcome.
R250.00 per training session twice a week.
R220.00 per training session three times a week.
R180 per person in a group of no more than 6.
We recommend 2 or more sessions per week to see the best results.
Get 20% off your first month of personal training. 8 Sessions in total. Train twice a week at only R1600.00. Thats a saving of R400.00
Activ Group Fitness Class:
Looking for a group fitness class to take part in? We offer a Saturday morning group fitness session in our pole studio also known as Pole-fit camp. No need to be a pole dance member as we focus on full body workouts alternating between floor work, weights and using the pole apparatus for upper body strength exercises. 1 hour of intense cardio and resistance training guaranteed to work up a sweat and get your heart racing.
Activ Group Fitness classes are only R420.00 per month on Saturday Mornings.

Activ moms-to-be! There's no need to stop your Activ lifestyle just because you are now pregnant, keep fit and Activ with our fun, safe exercise classes specifically designed to not only assist in a healthy, strong and fit pregnancy but to also assist in an easier labour and delivery, faster recovery, controlled weight gain, less back ache, better sleep as well as helping to return to your pre pregnancy shape faster!

Sign up for 2 sessions per week at our monthly rate of R480.00 pp or pay per trimester upfront for only R1200.00 pp. All mommy's will receive an Activ Work Out Buddy Sports top worth R180.00 when signing up.
Want to buy your own pole to practice at home?
The Activ Dance Pole is expertly designed, engineered and manufactured to suit your ceiling height at home/ studio and is quick and easy to install with a lockable spinning mechanism. We offer 38mm and 45mm diameter poles, Powder coated or Stainless steel. No drilling or bolts required, just a secure ceiling and level floor surface are needed. All we require is your exact ceiling height in the space in which you wish to install your pole. Poles under 3m are R1900, we require a R1000.00 deposit to secure your order and the rest is payable on delivery/ collection of your pole. We also do alterations on your Activ Pole if you wish to move your pole for a small fee. Don't forget about the Activ Bodi Pole-Fit camp on Saturday mornings where we incorporate our fitness fun with both pole and floor exercises, you do not need to be a pole dancer to take part in this class and anyone is welcome. Use this training session for gaining extra strength for pole classes as well as a full body workout for toning and keeping fit.

I performed as a pole dance body double in the music video "friends" by Justin Serrao.
Favorite thing about Teaching:
watching students' facial expressions when they finally nail that move they've been working on, watching them grow from strength to strength and being able to share my passion with them.

Never fear a move until you have tried it, and if it still scares the heck out of you, practice, practice, practice until you own it!

How pole dancing has changed my life:
Since Starting Pole dance classes I can definitely say that i feel more confident around other people, more confident with my body and as a person. I have made so many friends along the way and have met so many inspirational women. I love the physical transformation that pole dancing has made to my body. I feel humble in that i have inspired other women and provided a safe, fun environment where we can dance freely and challenge our minds and bodies, to de-stress and express our emotions through this awesome form of dance.

I close my eyes when trying a move for the first time... it helps me to focus, but can be tricky if I get disorientated and miss the pole.

How pole dancing has changed my life:
A few years ago my doctor gave me a choice between getting fit or having surgery..... I chose pole, and I haven't looked back since! I'm still very much an introvert, but I am more comfortable with and confident in myself. I often say that if it wasn't for pole I'd be in prison (I have a slight temper), because it helps me forget about the crazy world for a while. I've met the most awesome ladies through pole, which is probably the thing I value the most!
